Super nice staff. The rooms are clean and well maintained. If you get a chance to stay in the cabin in the back, it is perfect. The pool is also well cared for.

Very nice place. It's a little dated, but has the cleanliness and general appearance of being new. Very clean and well maintained. Our room a/c unit seemed a little tired and was a bit noisy, but worked just fine. Although the beds they lacked the firmness of a new mattress, they were clean and comfortable. Walls are a bit thin (we could hear people talking or a TV late at night and it wasn't anyone in the hall). Staff were very nice. The hot breakfast was delicious. This hotel was definitely a few steps above my expectations for a small-town hotel.

This Inn was great, our room was very clean with an amazing view. The service we received was extremely well no problems with checking in. And they are ESA/THERAPY animal friendly. We plan on using them again every road trip.

We found ourselves driving 25mph in a heavy snowstorm, decided to go no further and came across this hotel. We wondered how a hotel in the middle of nowhere could have such high reviews. Wow!! Were we surprised!! This was amazing!! So clean and so kept up!! Plus FREE BREAKFAST! The gal checking us in was so nice as was the gal next morning! She never stopped working, checking people out of their room and tending to the breakfast items. If we ever found ourselves near here again we would happily stay!! Thank you so much Altenhofen’s for making such a nice clean place to stay!
